O Grande Oriente do Brasil, por seu Grão-Mestre Geral, Soberano Irmão Múcio Bonifácio Guimarães, vem expressar os seus mais profundos sentimentos pelo falecimento do RW Brother Thomas W. Jackson.
O Irmão Thomas, além de membro honorário de várias Grandes Lojas e recipiente de inúmeras homenagens maçônicas no mundo, era Grande Secretário Passado da Grande Loja de Pensilvânia (EUA) e foi Secretário Executivo da Conferência Mundial de Grande Lojas Maçônicas por 16 anos, recebendo o título de Presidente Honorário. Foi palestrante internacional de temas maçônicos e defensor da unidade na Maçonaria Regular, em especial na Brasileira, a qual dedicou inestimáveis esforços para promover a aproximação entre as Obediências.

The Grand Orient of Brazil, through its General Grand Master, Most Worshipful Brother Múcio Bonifácio Guimarães, would like to express its deepest sympathies for the passing of RW Brother Thomas W. Jackson.
Brother Thomas, in addition to being an honorary member of several Grand Lodges and recipient of countless Masonic honors around the world, was Past Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania (USA) and Executive Secretary of the World Conference of Masonic Grand Lodges for 16 years, receiving the title of Honorary President. He was an international speaker on Masonic themes and advocate of unity in Regular Freemasonry, especially in Brazilian, to which he dedicated inestimable efforts to promote the approximation between the Masonic bodies.
